Pete Hill formed the company PJL Hygienic Systems Ltd in 2003, after working within the food production industry for many years, and now runs the business with his wife, Sarah.
Since then, PJL has worked with many clients both in and outside of the food sector.
Some projects of note include, for APV, the fabrication and installation of a third pasteuriser and new rotary filler; also part of the same job was to install a separator and cream pasteuriser, all working to the client’s strict specification. For a completely different sector, PJL fabricated the aluminium ducting vents for an air conditioning unit and the heavy duty six inch chilled water pipework for Carrier Refrigeration in Bristol. This was a major project involving a high rise crane and arranging for the road to be closed whilst the unit and associated pipework was put in place. Although these were large commissions, we are very happy to take on small projects as well.
Currently we have been working at various Yeo Valley sites both on the maintenance of their production lines but also installation work and with a growing business, Good Hemp at their processing plant in Devon. Equally, we are happy to assist small concerns on ‘one off’ projects and bespoke work to your own design. We have carried out a number of such projects such as building a hog roaster and also working for several local bee keepers and bee keeping organisations. One of which, a honey separator, won a prize for innovation at the Royal Bath and West Show.
PJL is able to work anywhere within the UK and take great pride and care in our work and attention to detail.
For all our Health and Safety needs we use C2 Safety. Individual, R.A.M.S. for particular jobs etc.
All PJL Staff have IPAF Certs. Some are trained to enter confined spaces, some are fork lift truck trained drivers
